I centered the piece around concepts of mixed meter rhythms, tuning octaves, and steady double tonguing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs a concept, \u003cem\u003eObsidian Glimmers \u003c\/em\u003ejumps to the heart of the juxtaposition between light and dark. The gemstone Obsidian is a black stone that refracts in the light, creating a glimmering effect.
