This piece is modeled after the philosophical theme of the golden thread, where all people are interconnected and our actions ripple through the lives of everyone we are close to. Throughout the piece, players are often paired and playing together in harmony. This is meant to represent the consonance we can achieve by trusting in and caring for those around us as well as the rippling impact our love for others can have.
