A setting of an original text for SATB chorus and piano. The music draws on Gospel and jazz idioms and longs for a peace that seems all too absent in the world. The context is made more poignant by the dedication to Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, two African American men who were shot by the police. The music is accessible and will be a great addition to any choral library.
